Rockets vs. Clippers: Free NBA Picks and Predictions

Its a star-studded matchup (if everybody plays) and the marquee matchup from the NBA on Friday night since Houston visits the Los Angeles Clippers in a nationally televised event.

ESPN has an NBA doubleheader on Friday. My SBR cohort Jordan Sharp will have a record of the game including the Spurs. There is only one game leaning off Friday after 9 p.m. ET and its this excellent matchup between the Rockets and Clippers from L.A.
Of course, that the Clippers trading for Paul George from Oklahoma City this summer is what compelled the hand of Thunder GM Sam Presti in sending Russell Westbrook to Houston. This will be the first time this year that Westbrook will move up against George as well as if everybody playswith, the very first time Westbrook and James Harden will combat L.A.s Dynamic Duo of George and Kawhi Leonard. When he might find the night off, with Leonard you dont know.
These teams met Nov. 13 in Houston, but George hadnt made his season debut yet off shoulder surgery. The Rockets won 102-93 from Harden supporting 47 points. Westbrook struggled in hitting 6-for-20 from the field and had just two points and two assists. Clint Capela needed 12 points and 20 rebounds.
Leonard had 26 to lead the Clippers but no starter had more than nine. Lou Williams had 20 off the bench but fellow reserve Montrezl Harrell four. You might remember softball trainer Doc Rivers got ejected along with his son had been getting some fun with this.
Houston has won four of the previous six in the show overall but fell three of the preceding five in L.A.
