Juventus took control of their Champions League Group D destiny.
On a night when Atletico Madrid won 2-0 away at Lokomotiv Moscow, the side was joined by Juve on four things at the peak of the table.
Gonzalo Higuain pounced together with Federico Bernardeschi, on Jonathan Tahs error to fire in the initial.
Cristiano Ronaldo raced through to get on the late.
For a time, this was a low-key affair, particularly in the period from the first half after Higuain opener.
Tah failed to take care of a ball from the right, directing it into the path of Higuain, with the Argentine before producing a clinical finish, taking one touch.
Leverkusen, who dropped captain Lars Bender in the warm-up, had lots of the ball, however, lacked the guile to unlock the most Juve defence that is solid.
And, once the hosts had the ability to counter, the side endured bouts of panic not aided by goalkeeper Lukas Hradeckys eccentricities.
Hradecky played his role once Juventus moved through the gears as they did invigorating the home audience to keep his side in it.

In between, though, Hradecky was powerless to prevent Bernardeschi netting the instant.
After good play involving Higuain and Ronaldo, Ronaldo failed to associate with a cut-back from the byeline, just to arrive him supporting and effectively end the contest.
Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey came past the bar before the last chance, when the lob of Paulinho moved onrushing Juve keeper Wojciech Szczesny of Leverkusen, but also as a replacement.
It looked as though the night frustrated would be ended by Ronaldo , only for the frontman latching on to a through ball and then ending through the legs of Hradecky.
